Get on up, like a beer machine ‘cause our brew-ah got a brand new bag – and its a superfly, funkadelic wild ale. It’s your thing, Mr. Big Stuff. When Uncle Brettanomyces parties at the Farmhouse, I know you got soul in the bottle, you sexy thing. A second fermentation of our Saison wort with wild yeast gives Funky Monkey tremendous complexity. A pleasant, sour, earthy edge with barnyard notes makes you want to party with this guy early in the morning and all night long. When the Belgian yeast strain gets funky with Brett it becomes one nation under a groove with hints of pineapples, granny smiths, and a dry-champagne finish to make this family affair out of sight.

Serve in a Tulip Glass while wearing your best Bling. Pairs well with salads, seafood, and Asian curries, and a wide range of cheese from earthy, to nutty, to pungent. Poultry and shellfish entrees, as well as tart desserts.
Pours a snappy pale golden color releasing funky aromas of barnyard hay and apple. Mosaic sour citrus flavors, with honey laced grains in an effervescent medium-full body that ends as dry as Uncle Brett’s jokes.
Available seasonally on draft at the Allentown and Bethlehem Brew Works, in 750ml corked & caged bottles, and 1/6 and 1/2 bbls. Late July through September.
