CHARITY: Friends of the Bethlehem Mounted Police Unit
CASK: Fegley’s “Fruits of Spring” brewed with mango and peach, 11% ABV.
Since June of 2006, the entire proceeds of the Bethlehem Brew Works first Thursday’s “CHARITY CASK NIGHT” has been donated to a local non-profit organization. Better still, the non-profit recipient has the opportunity to present literature and banners, and have representatives on hand for an informal Q&A and info-session about their community work.
A craft brewery draws its character and strength from its community, but it can also give back to the community and help create positive change. That’s the idea behind this series of benefit events that take place at the Bethlehem Brew Works every 1st Thursday of the month.
Our head brewer offers a hand pumped, cask-conditioned ale from a 10-gallon barrel called a firkin. A firkin is a small keg, holds about 9 gallons or so of cask-conditioned, 50°F beer. The cask, or firkin, is always a special, one-of-a-kind beer connoisseur’s treat. It is available only until it runs dry, which could be just hours (or less) after it’s tapped.
Open up your senses to the hop and malt flavors released by drinking a beer from a hand-drawn firkin served at a respectable temperature. Our brewers then work their magic to give each cask its own special character.

Using Steel Trap Trivia, I lost 15 lbs, saved hundreds of dollars and gained the confidence I needed to get ahead in today’s economy. Thanks, Steel Trap Trivia! –Dan Ford, Allentown
Steel Trap Trivia has allowed me to put to use the copious amount of severely pathetic (YET TOTALLY AWESOME) knowledge i maintain about ‘Lord of the Rings’ while also nailing almost every Ryan’s Sports Report question. Not only that–I have entrusted that the Wit has enough Vitamin C to keep a player healthy enough to endure the ridiculousness that ensues during a single game of trivia. –Dana Carey, Bethlehem
I continue to play Steel Trap Trivia every week despite my own consistently poor performance. This must therefore prove one or more of the following: 1) Steel Trap Trivia is indeed an excellent time and a splendid way to spend your Wednesday evening. 2) Hope and perseverance are the opiates of the unskilled. 3) I am secretly in love with the hilarious and charismatic hosts. Come play Steel Trap Trivia – have a great time, abandon all hope, and fall in love! –Juggy Gales (not his real name), Bethlehem
What do you want me to add? Make it less “full of myself?” On second thought, take it down or I will. I hate when my Ego manifests. –Drake Myre (also not his real name), Allentown
Steel Trap Trivia has replaced my Viagra®. –Joel Garcia, Bethlehem

LEARN WHY YOU SHOULD BE ADDING CHOCOLATE TO YOUR DIET – I’ll be honest—I love chocolate year-round. But with the mercury dipping, a cup of hot cocoa or bite of silky, rich dark chocolate seems that much more appealing. Here’s a roundup of the latest health boons attributed to chocolate… read more.

The AJF Center Stage Series returns to the Allentown Brew Works in 2016!
“The dedication that the Fegley family has shown to Allentown’s rebirth has been tremendous. The Brew Works was one of the first major businesses to open during Allentown’s revitalization, and it was also one of the earliest. The Allentown Brew Works was really the first major new investment along Hamilton Street, predating the PPL Arena complex by years. We were really eager to work with the good people at the Brew Works in our second season. The success of the November show proves that The Brew Works and the AJF actually make a lot of sense together.” said Bryan Tuk, the Executive Director and CEO of the Allentown JazzFest.
Performing Arts Live! Inc. is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization that produces the Allentown JazzFest. For more information, please visit http://allentownjazzfest.org or email bryan@palive.org.

Wild Fox Farm launched The Footprint Campaign on Earth Day – April 22, 2016.
You can check out the video and learn more about The Footprint Campaign here: http://bit.ly/
The primary goal of the campaign is to reduce the farm’s carbon footprint by transitioning to a rooftop solar array and an efficient walk in cooler. Such sustainable methods come with a price tag though, so we’re teaming up with Barnraiser (like Kickstarter, but for farms/food) to make it happen, hosting a launch party to celebrate the start of a great adventure, and looking to our friends and family for support.
There are a variety of ways to show your support for the campaign, which will run April 22 through June 24. They include:
VISIT – Fegley’s Brew Works (Allentown) April 25 to celebrate the campaign launch.
DONATE – every amount helps, from $5.00 to $500.00.
SHARE – tell your family and friends.
LIKE – Wild Fox Farm on Facebook & Instagram.
CONNECT – for more tips on how to help, email thewildfoxfarm@gmail.com.
