Using Steel Trap Trivia, I lost 15 lbs, saved hundreds of dollars and gained the confidence I needed to get ahead in today’s economy. Thanks, Steel Trap Trivia! –Dan Ford, Allentown
Steel Trap Trivia has allowed me to put to use the copious amount of severely pathetic (YET TOTALLY AWESOME) knowledge i maintain about ‘Lord of the Rings’ while also nailing almost every Ryan’s Sports Report question. Not only that–I have entrusted that the Wit has enough Vitamin C to keep a player healthy enough to endure the ridiculousness that ensues during a single game of trivia. –Dana Carey, Bethlehem
I continue to play Steel Trap Trivia every week despite my own consistently poor performance. This must therefore prove one or more of the following: 1) Steel Trap Trivia is indeed an excellent time and a splendid way to spend your Wednesday evening. 2) Hope and perseverance are the opiates of the unskilled. 3) I am secretly in love with the hilarious and charismatic hosts. Come play Steel Trap Trivia – have a great time, abandon all hope, and fall in love! –Juggy Gales (not his real name), Bethlehem
What do you want me to add? Make it less “full of myself?” On second thought, take it down or I will. I hate when my Ego manifests. –Drake Myre (also not his real name), Allentown
Steel Trap Trivia has replaced my Viagra®. –Joel Garcia, Bethlehem

Distinguishing Characteristics: Cheerful, well-stretched, deadly in the short sprint. If you outlast them, you can sometimes snatch up the growler they leave behind. Crimes: Sweatiness, premature departure

Description: Beards, beards, and more beards. Particular strengths In Civil War history, Local Lore, “Doctor Who.” Crimes: Disloyalty (you know who you are), overuse of ironic t-shirts, secession Aliases: Drive Changry; The Big Chang Theory; Everybody Loves Lana Del Raymond

Known Aliases: Kirkman Strikes Back; Kirkman: The First Avenger; Kirkman: The Winter Soldier
Hart AttackersDescription: Dyed-in-the-wool Trivia lovers, no matter what town they’re in, this family-oriented team typically gets here earliest and often leaves the latest. (That’s a compliment.) Sky-high tolerance Crimes: Liver self-abuse, some envy. Aliases: My Teammate Sucks
Dr. Mike + the Electric SheepDescription: A relatively recent, yet dedicated, cadre of fanatics. While we’ve yet to pinpoint which one is Dr. Mike and whither the Sheep, we do know this much: he’s a real doctor, not the evil kind. I’unno—physics, maybe? Historic Themed Steel Trap Trivia with Steven T. Bost
Meet former Brew Master Beau Baden, Beer Historian and Brewer Christopher Bowen, Fegley’s Brew Works head brewer Mike Wieboldt, and other members of the Fegley brewery team.
In the style of British Old Ales, smoked biscuit, floor malted, Maris Otter English Malts and Hops were used. Fire roasted barley and a special ingredient called Essentia Bina – think homemade molasses – were used in the brewing process. Check out Bowen’s Facebook Page for pictures of Essentia Bina – smoking the sugar, boiling over a fire for hours before setting the pot on fire, adding color and a peat like taste. ‘Old Ale’ is a somewhat sweet, rich and full bodied.
Christopher Bowen is an award-winning “Beer Historian, Master Brewer, Colonial & Victorian Era Brewing Re-Enactor and Beer Adventurist…” MORE
Beau Baden, a Scranton native, is an award-winning Brew Master who brewed for Fegley’s Allentown and Bethlehem Brew Works of Allentown and Bethlehem from 2005 until April 8th, 2016. Goundie’s Ale was one of his last brews for Fegley’s family owned and operated breweries.
It is with a heavy heart that we bid Beau farewell as he enters a new stage of his brewing career with Susquehanna Brewing Co. Beau will always be part of the Fegley Brew Works family…” Jeff Fegley, owner Fegley’s Brew Works MORE
Baden’s most recent awards while brewing for Fegley’s included a gold medal win for Arctic Alchemy and a bronze medal win for his Berliner Weisse at the Great American Beer Festival in 2014. Arctic Alchemy was brewed based on a recipe derived from Bowen. MORE

The 1810 Goundie House, built by Moravian town brewer and business man John Sebastian Goundie, is believed to be the first brick residence in Bethlehem and the first private home to reflect the new architectural American Federal style rather than the German Colonial style. Today, the Goundie House is a contributing property to the Historic Moravian Bethlehem National Historic Landmark District.” READ MORE

Enjoy traditional cask beer served from a naturally carbonated, hand-drawn firkin. 100% of cask proceeds will be given to our friends at Austism Speaks Lehigh Valley. Stop by anytime after 5pm and drink a pint for a good cause. Cheers!
Since June of 2006, the entire proceeds of the Bethlehem Brew Works first Thursday’s “CHARITY CASK NIGHT” has been donated to a local non-profit organization. Better still, the non-profit recipient has the opportunity to present literature and banners, and have representatives on hand for an informal Q&A and info-session about their community work.
A craft brewery draws its character and strength from its community, but it can also give back to the community and help create positive change. That’s the idea behind this series of benefit events that take place at the Bethlehem Brew Works every 1st Thursday of the month.
Our head brewer offers a hand pumped, cask-conditioned ale from a 10-gallon barrel called a firkin. A firkin is a small keg, holds about 9 gallons or so of cask-conditioned, 50°F beer. The cask, or firkin, is always a special, one-of-a-kind beer connoisseur’s treat. It is available only until it runs dry, which could be just hours (or less) after it’s tapped.
Open up your senses to the hop and malt flavors released by drinking a beer from a hand-drawn firkin served at a respectable temperature. Our brewers then work their magic to give each cask its own special character.
