From the artist:
Cheryl Lewis is a freelance photographer who resides in the Lehigh Valley. Her
background in graphic arts bolstered a keen sense of perspective leading to a passion for
photography. Specializing in landscapes, nature and historical sites,
Cheryl has received Honorable Mention for her photo of Eckley Miners’ Village,
which was published in the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission (PHMC)
magazine.
Inspired by Dutch painters and their use of light, her photographs depict the unrecognized
and silent beauty of life around us – these are the values she wishes to share with the
viewer through her photographs. Cheryl’s artistic philosophy focuses on the natural
aesthetics found in everyday life – her art expresses the inspirational workings of nature.
