Top 5 Things to Get Excited about at Fegley’s Cask Beer Festival

Fegley’s Cask Beer Festival brings together homebrewers, beer representatives, and craft beer enthusiasts for a day full of sampling rare brews! With unique and exclusive cask beers, an all-you-can-eat-buffet and live entertainment, there’s a lot to be excited about. Here’s what we’re most looking forward to this year:

1- One-of-a-kind Cask Creations

Cask beers are unique because they are unfiltered, conditioned and served from a cask without any additional pressure. They tend to taste more complex and have less carbonation than brews that have been tapped with carbon dioxide. To make things even better: all of the cask beers featured at Fegley’s Cask Beer Festival are one-of-a-kind creations that have been handcrafted by some of your favorite local breweries. You won’t find these brews anywhere else!

2- Ye Olde Irish Themed Buffet

What’s better than all the cask beer you could ever want? Nothing… but we think all-you-can-eat buffets come pretty close. This year, we’ll have a buffet full of Celtic favorites for you to pig out on like Shepherd’s Pie, Corned Beef and Cabbage, Lamb Stew, Irish Mac and Cheese and more! 

3- Puttle Golf Championships

Once again, the 2017 Puttle Golf Championship will be held at Fegley’s Cask Beer Festival! Winners in both the golfer and non-golfer category will win cash, prizes and “The Tankard” for the lowest score! A $1 entry fee for all those in attendance will be donated to the Boys + Girls Club of the LV. To learn more about Puttle golf, click

4- Mead & Craft Beer Samples

In addition to completely unique cask beers, you’ll have the chance to sample numerous Fegley’s Allentown Brew Works craft brews, as well as mead and craft beers from some of the other breweries in attendance!

5 – Interacting with the Brewers

Talk to the brewers one on one and learn about what went into each casks, what some of their favorite beers are and how they came up with each creation. This festival is the perfect opportunity for home brewers to get some tips and recommendations from all of the different breweries.
