“Here We Gose Again” to be released 12/14!

On Monday, December 5th at 5pm, Fegley’s Brew Works brewery will be tapping their 2nd in a series of 12 special, one-off releases scheduled for the upcoming year – “Here We Gose Again” Cranberry Tart Ale at 5pm at Allentown and Bethlehem Brew Works. Quantities of this kettle soured ale will be extremely limited. Craft beer enthusiasts looking to partake in the brew are encouraged to arrive close to 5pm.

Brewed with 8 pounds of sea salt and 420 pounds of cranberry. The tart brew was then kettle soured for two days with lactobacillus from Fegley’s GABF two-time bronze medal winner Berliner Weiss. After the beer got to the desired acidity level, it was lightly hopped with East Kent Goldings and Willamette Hops from Washington.

This is the second beer brewed for Fegley’s breweries distribution upcoming schedule and has been available at local pubs, restaurants and bars distributed by Shangy’s of Emmaus since November, 2015. The brewery decided to hold off on releasing it at their Allentown and Bethlehem Brew Works locations until closer to Christmas.   Originally, when asked for the inspiration behind the cranberry brew, Baden replied, “What’s Thanksgiving without cranberries?” We are guessing that Santa agrees!
