Fegley’s Brew Works is feeling ‘PA proud!’ because our brewery team just tapped their “Session iPA Locale” at both Allentown and Bethlehem Brew Works. This light refreshing Session IPA was brewed with Pennsylvania craft malt from Deer Creek Malthouse in Glen Hills and cascade hops from Penn State Hops Farm in Bernville. Session iPA Locale weighs in at 5.3% ABV, 1.055 OG, and 50 IBUs.
Deer Creek Malthouse has committed themselves to providing the highest quality malt through sustainable business practices such as sourcing grain from farms within 50 miles of their malthouse and re-purposing / recycling equipment and waste water.
“Deer Creek Malthouse is the first commercial malthouse in Pennsylvania since prohibition. Our mission is simple: Provide local craft brewers and distillers with high quality, sustainably farmed, artisan malts that bring truly local character and innovation to our region’s craft beverage tradition. Founded in 2012, we are committed to supplying hand crafted, traditional floor malted products with terroir that can be enjoyed by our local craft beverage community. Deer Creek Malthouse thanks our current and future customers for supporting and committing to the vision of local products. We believe that truly amazing things can happen when you shorten the supply chain. Cheers!” READ MORE
