3 Newly Tapped Fegley's Brews

2015 is off to a great start as Fegley’s Brew Works brewery team tapped three more seasonal beers at both Allentown and Bethlehem Brew Works.

Bethlehem Brew Works head brewer Josh Bushey unveiled his  Frambeche Lambic Reserve, an Oud Bruin style of beer. Belgian breweries typically open their windows and allow the airborne wild yeasts and bacteria to allow a “spontaneous” fermentation to occur. We use select yeast and bacteria to achieve similar results. Aged for over a year in wine barrels from the Napa Valley we blended equally our Framboise (raspberry) and Peche (peach) lambics to create a unique beer.

“10 On The Richter Scale” was tapped at Allentown Brew Works.  Fegley’s Brew Works team brewed this luscious American red ale with a big kick – coming in at 10.4% ABV. This hoppy, strong beer has caramel, chocolate and roasted notes followed by a big hop presence finishing at 1.100 OG and 100 IBUs.

Both brewpubs are proud to have Fegley’s Insidious Imperial Stout on NITRO tap. The Imperial Stout served on nitro creates a seductively smooth flavor and is rich with complex chocolate, caramel, Two-Row & roasted malts. East Kent Golding hops and English ale yeast create a black, deity-sized libation with an aroma of dark fruit that will be your portal to the dark side. Insidious weighs in at 1.084 OG, 9% ABV.
