For the past few years, the walls at the Allentown Brew Works has been adorned with the works of local artists. The newest installation is from Photographer Cheryl Lewis. Exhibits are rotated two to four times a year. We truly appreciate the artist living in and near the Lehigh Valley and hope you do too!
Coastal Maine
Photography Exhibit
Cheryl Lewis is a freelance photographer who resides in the Lehigh Valley.
Her background in graphic arts bolstered a keen sense of perspective leading to a passion for photography. The Signal museum in Easton recently exhibited two of her photos, one of which is exhibited in this collection, entitled, Iron Horse. She has received Honorable Mention for her photo of Eckley Miners’ Village, published in the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission magazine.
This exhibit is entitled, Coastal Maine.
Maine’s coast measures only 228 miles, but Maine’s spectacular shoreline is 3,478 miles long. These photos depict the love of the ocean and the land, where the rock ledges meet the sea head-on. Main’s spectacular coast graces us with iconic lighthouses and Lobster boats which can be seen for miles providing us with a glimpse of the way of life for generations, the life of a lobstermen.
I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I enjoy sharing a view of Coastal Maine. – CALewis Photography
