Allentown has two new Brew Works locations to feast on — Burrito Works and Coffee Works opened today in the city.

The Brew Works has, of late, been flexing their restaurant muscles with expansions into Allentown and the Allentown Municipal Golf Course.

Their family-run business is into its newest venture: A Mexican restaurant and separate coffee shop adjoining the Allentown Brew Works location on Hamilton Street.

Burrito Works and Coffee Works opened today.

The coffee portion of the business is a collaboration with Troy Reynard, owner of The Cosmic Cup Coffee Co. of Easton.

“I’m not a partner in the business, but it’s a partnership of sorts,” Reynard says. “You’ll get the same quality coffee and drinks that you’d find at Cosmic Cup.”

Coffee Works will buy their fair trade, individually-sourced coffee from Reynard’s suppliers [New Harvest Coffee Roasters]. Reynard also trained the coffee baristas in Coffee Works.

“I was trying to open a shop in Allentown last summer, but I couldn’t find the right combination of location and rent,” Reynard adds.

Burrito Works and Coffee Works held a soft opening Monday for family and friends, and officially opened their doors for business today.
