Bethlehem Charity Cask Night
Jul 7 @ 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Bethlehem Charity Cask Night @ Fegley's Bethlehem Brew Works | Bethlehem | Pennsylvania | United States

To benefit No Kill Lehigh Valley on July 7th. Read more about the charity here.

Charity Cask Nights

Since June of 2006, the entire proceeds of the Bethlehem Brew Works first Thursday’s “CHARITY CASK NIGHT” has been donated to a local non-profit organization. Better still, the non-profit recipient has the opportunity to present literature and banners, and have representatives on hand for an informal Q&A and info-session about their community work.

A craft brewery draws its character and strength from its community, but it can also give back to the community and help create positive change. That’s the idea behind this series of benefit events that take place at the Bethlehem Brew Works every 1st Thursday of the month.

WHAT is Cask Ale?

Our head brewer offers a hand pumped, cask-conditioned ale from a 10-gallon barrel called a firkin.  A firkin is a small keg, holds about 9 gallons or so of cask-conditioned, 50°F beer. The cask, or firkin, is always a special, one-of-a-kind beer connoisseur’s treat. It is available only until it runs dry, which could be just hours (or less) after it’s tapped.

WHY Cask Ale?

If you love beer then this is your chance to experience drinking a REAL ale!

Open up your senses to the hop and malt flavors released by drinking a beer from a hand-drawn firkin served at a respectable temperature. Our brewers then work their magic to give each cask its own special character.

Past Charities:

Cystic Fybrosis Northeastern Pa Chapter, Miller-Keystone Blood Center, The Center for Animal Health & Welfare, March of Dimes Pennsylvania Chapter, United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley, American Red Cross of the Greater Lehigh Valley, The Cat Shack Rescue Shelter, Nevus Outreach,  Itty Bitty Kitty Cat Rescue,  Race For Adam Foundation, MDA, KidsPeace, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Godfrey Daniels, The Cat Shack, Sun Inn Preservation Society, Nevus Outreach, American Diabetes Association, WDIY Public Radio, Historic Bethlehem Partnership, Communities In Schools, The Allentown Symphony, TeenCentral.net, Celtic Cultural Alliance, “Gift of Life Family House”, “Walk for Autism Now” Autism Speaks, Alliance for Building Communities, Civic Theatre of Allentown, The Barn, Casa Guadalupe Center Capital Campaign, Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley, Special Olympics of Lehigh County, Community Services for Children, Pennsylvania Perimeter Ride Against Cancer, LVBW,  NCC Alumni, Family connection of Easton, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, Catholic Charities,  The Seed Farm, and more…

Bethlehem Charity Cask Night
Aug 3 @ 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Bethlehem Charity Cask Night @ Fegley's Bethlehem Brew Works | Bethlehem | Pennsylvania | United States
