This year’s Blues, Brews, and BBQ event in Downtown Allentown was a fantastic success for all involved. We watched during the week as our Executive Chef, Mike Honeywell, perfected his recipes entering the festival. As the names were announced, Mike’s hard work was rewarded. He walked away with wins in 4 categories: Beef, Pork, Chicken, and Baked Beans.
If you’re dying to try these award winning concotions, head into the Allentown Brew Works this week. On our specials menu we’ll be offering Chorizo Pulled Pork. Here’s our description: Pecan-wood smoked Pork tenderloin stuffed with Chorizo sausage, wrapped in bacon and glazed with our porter BBQ sauce. Served with sauteed collard greens and macaroni-and-cheese.
Congratulations to Executive Chef Mike Honeywell for continuing to push forward culinary excellence in the Lehigh Valley. We look forward to the next creation that comes from within the kitchen!
